My journey in hairdressing began in 1996 as an apprentice at a renowned salon in Hong Kong, where I developed a strong foundation in precision cutting and styling. Over the next four years, I gained hands-on experience working in Hong Kong’s high-end salon, honing both technical skills and creative expression.
In 1998, I trained at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, an experience that deeply shaped my approach to hair design with its emphasis on structure, balance, and individuality.
From 2000 to 2003, I continued my career in Taipei, where I gained valuable experience working with Taiwanese & Japanese hairstyling techniques. This time allowed me to broaden my skills, especially in adapting to different hair textures and perfecting detail-oriented styles that suit each client’s individuality.
In 2005, I opened Hairoriental in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and since 2015 I’ve been welcoming clients in my home salon, where I combine international training, decades of experience, and a personal touch to create hair that looks and feels beautiful every day.
With nearly 30 years in the industry, my goal has always been simple: to help each client leave the chair feeling confident, refreshed, and truly themselves.
